At the end of the first week of December 2017 Christleton had a snowfall. Perhaps not quite as much as we expected from the forecasts but in a few hours everything turned white. Only 7 days after the important village meeting convened by our MP Chris Matheson Cheshire West & Chester Council sent out a Planning Notice to nearby residents informing of them of a residential development of 60 dwellings, including the demolition of late 20th century buildings and conversion of Christleton Hall to residential use at Christleton Hall, Pepper Sreet, Christleton, Cheshire CH3 7AB
