New page for Minutes

New plans are available in pdf format for the refurbishment of the Little Heath Play Area. Links appear on the home page and the Parish Council page

Little Heath Play Area

The Parish Council page was becoming quite hefty in size and needed some time to load before I could edit it. To aid my impatience the links to the minutes of meetings from 2005 to 2010 have now been moved to a new page. Minutes for 2011 will appear when available on the Parish Council page.

Parish Magazine February 2011

News has come from the Parish Council that work to improve the play area at Little Heath will start on Monday 14th February.

Parish Council Minutes

The colour internet version of St James' Parish Magazine for February is now available via the home page or the Parish Magazines 2011 page. This is probably the last printed edition of the magazine I compile as I am passing this job to someone else who will be made known in the near future. At the moment it looks as if this might be the last colour version but I am hoping to be able to continue having at least a black and white pdf version of the magazine on the web site.

Parish Council Agendas

The Parish Council Minutes for the meetings in November and December, 2010 are now online.

Old web site

The Parish Council agendas for the next meeting on Tuesday 1st February, 2011 are now online.

Rearranged 2010

In the rearrangement of the home page last year I appear to have lost the link to the old Christleton web site. This has been now been replaced on the home page

Community Plan Minutes

Looking to the future I have made a new page titled 2010 under St. James' Church. From this their is a sub menu listing for the three events in 2010. Beating the Bounds, Confirmation Day and the Rector's Retirement Weekend

New Rector

The minutes for the Christleton Community Plan meeting held on 10th January have been added.

New banner photographs

It has been announced that the new Rector at St. James' Church, Christleton will be the Reverend Malcolm Cowan, Vicar of the Parish of St. Helen, Witton, Northwich. He starts on May 1st, 2011.

Free Garden Offer

David Cummings has let me have some photographs he took at St James' Church at Christmas. These will be added to the site in the near future but for the time being a few have been added to the moving banner on the home page.

January Meeting

Christleton Garden Club would like you to join them. The annual subscription is ten pounds but they have a current offer in that you can have a taster and attend their February Meeting and Lecture FOR FREE. More details on the home page.
