The group always has a stall at the village fete, originally selling homemade candies and sweets and now together with the W.I howemade cakes. An annual Charity Christleton Christmas Card Sale is also organised by the group each October in Christleton Parish Hall, when local and national charities are invited to come together for two hours one Saturday morning and sell their cards and gifts under one roof. The Wednesday Group also has a stall selling homemade cakes and preserves and provides coffee and biscuits. This year, over£1,500 was raised. |
