Welcome to the information pages for
Christleton Village Traffic Action Group
Contact the Group by email at christletontraff@waitrose.com or telephone 335296 or 07801340852
The Group’s aim is to: identify, measure and support actions to rectify issues in the central part of the village resulting from traffic, parking and other vehicle use.
We have carried out doorstep opinion surveys, held open public meetings, distributed a comprehensive questionnaire to all central village residents, published all the results from that survey and made recommendations for action to the Parish Council.
The Parish Council has accepted the proposed strategy and is actively pursuing it with Cheshire West and Chester Councillors, Highways officers and the Highways Agency.
The Traffic Group continues to work independently to monitor traffic matters and gather further information. It will continue to welcome input from residents and will keep all the records and conclusions up to date and accessible via this website.
Any residents who wish to help, for example, by using radar speed guns, manning use of the Speed Indicator Display or carrying out other actions which we have not yet covered: their assistance would be greatly appreciated.
If you wish to read more about the background to our activities and the principles for solutions please look at the Consultation Document (link below).
