Years 2000 - 2009
In January 2010 the Christleton web site had its biggest major overhaul since its birth in 2000. During the nine years web building changed a lot. The programs available became more sophisticaed in line with what it was possible to do and display on a web site.
The Christleton web site is built on an Apple Mac computer. In fact a numbr of Apple Macs over the years. The first program used was Adobe Pagemill which was discontinued in 2000 to make way for Adobe Go Live. This was used in its various versions right up until the end of 2009 even though it was discountinued by Adobe in 2008 to make way for a new HTML editor - Adobe Dreamweaver.
At the end of 2009 I changed the design of the site using an Apple Mac only program - Rapidweaver. Instead of trying to incorporate the 9 years of material into the new web site I started afresh but the old web site is viewable via the link below. The search facility on the new web site will search everything right from the year 2000.
