It’s Village Show time again
Christleton Village Show
Saturday 21st July in Christleton Parish Hall

Last year’s Scarecrows theme was very successful so we’re trying it again.

We’ve looked into all judging aspects of the show and have introduced some improvements and additional rules, so please read the schedules carefully.
We are continuing our hi-tech venture into the 21st century with a Web Page design competition and Hanging Baskets will again be on the ‘menu’. There are separate leaflets with the rules and so forth attached to the main schedule for the Scarecrow, Web Page and Hanging Basket competitions.
The Hanging Basket competition has developed a lot of interest since we introduced it three years ago and we expect a lot more exhibits with the village looking particularly floral!

Show entry forms and schedules will be available from Paul Jackson at the Post Office during April. Get your form early to start planning your entries in good time.
The Village Garden Trail is planned for Sunday 22nd July (the day after the show). If you would like to open your garden for viewing please contact David Cummings or Judith Butt as soon as possible.

Please support your Village Show. It’s great fun on the day. Don’t feel that your efforts are not good enough to exhibit. There is an immense amount of talent in our village and it’s wonderful to see what everyone can do. If you’ve got it, flaunt it, as they say.
We also need volunteers on the day. Please come and help if you can. If you can help, please ring any of the committee below.

Chris Marsland, 335424; Judith Butt, 335296; Sue Haywood, 01829 741814; Charles Smeatham, 335209; Janet Brown, 335785; Margaret Croston, 335955; David Cummings, 332410 and Pat ffrench-Lynch, 336050.
