Please use this page to thank someone for a kindness

There are times for all of us when life just does not run smoothly and things go wrong. The kindness and help of a friend is so important at these moments of crisis. If there is someone who was a hero or who was just there to lend a helping hand and you would like to thank them, use this page

2001

January Richard Nicholson would like to thank Mr. David Roberts of Christleton for his very kind assistance in getting his car to start at Sainsbury's Petrol Station on 31st January. An additional thanks is also due as his act of kindness gave me the idea for this web page.
February Gillian Brackenbury and Sheila Roberts would like to thank everyone for their kind support and generosity on 10th February. A total of £434 was raised at Christleton Methodist Church to sponsor Wayne Stafford in the Borneo Challenge, his aim being to raise £10,000 for Claire House Children’s Hospice
March Peter and Fiona would like to thank everyone for so many cards and messages. It is very humbling and yet uplifting to know we are supported by so much prayer. We also want to thank all those who are working so hard to 'cover Peter's tracks' while he is away!
Treatment is progressing as planned and being tolerated! Thank you all and God bless.

CLIFF BODDY
Clifford and Hyldred Boddy and their families would like to express their sincere thanks to everyone who attended Cliff’s funeral on 31 March 2001. Special thanks also to Cliff’s friends who visited him during his illness and for all the cards and kind thoughts he received over the last few weeks. Clifford and Hyldred are grateful for the support and friendship that Cliff had always received throughout his life in Christleton and Littleton.
The Quarter Peal, which was rung on Sunday 1 April, was a great tribute to Cliff who will be missed by everyone, but who leaves many special reminders of his talents, including the beautiful calligraphy work at St James Church.
Many thanks to everyone who made a donation to The British Heart Foundation, the total raised so far is £720.
