SAVOURY PRAWN SLICES

Puff or shortcrust pastry
4 oz. prawns
1 medium onion chopped
2 medium tomatoes
1 chopped green pepper (optional)
4 oz. cooked peas
2 eggs
1/4 pint milk
2 oz. grated cheese

Line a shallow dish or swiss roll pastry tint with pastry. Prick with a fork. Mix prawns, chopped onion, sliced tomatoes, and chopped green pepper in a bowl, and then spread over pastry. Beat eggs and milk together. Season and pour over prawn mixture. Sprinkle with grated cheese and bake at mark 5, 400 deg. for 25 minutes or until egg is set. Serve sliced with salad.
