What we do…

We are The Crew, St James' Youth Group for young people aged between 11 and 18. We meet on Sunday evenings at 6pm during term time at the Parish Hall in Christleton. We like doing fun stuff that helps support our church and the local community.

• Fun games such as dodgeball, rounders, badminton and hockey.
• Fundraising for good causes.
• Arts, crafts and cookery.
• We make great friends whilst helping our community.
• Activities that highlight local & world issues.
• Fun trips out and about.

Recent activities...

We're had a really busy few months at The Crew, here's some of the cool stuff we've been getting up to:

•  8th Feb 09 [pictures]: A fund raising sleepover to raise money for Jaila, a young African child.
• 18th Jan 09 [pictures]: The Crew 2009 with helpers Catriona & Petrina
• 29th Nov 08 [pictures]: Running a home made sweety stall at the Christleton Christmas Fayre
• 20th Oct 08 [pictures]: Our new Hoodies arrived!
• 13th Jul 08 [pictures]: Performed 'Christleton's got talent' sketch at the flower service.
• 21st Jun 08 [pictures]: A day trip to Chester Zoo.
• 15th Jun 08: Tending the graves at St James'.
• 20th Apr 08: We ran a sweat shop activity to understand the lives of children in poorer countries.
• 16th Mar 08: At Easter we decorated cakes, made pancakes and had an egg & spoon obstacle course race.
